Nucleus was the beta model for Platform. We wanted to see if the model for Platform would work. Putting innovators together with funders, mentors and like minded people, would it help the innovation and tech sector in Calgary grow? The founder of Platform together with Cenovus set up a temporary space to see what would happen. I needed to brand that temporary space. We decide to go with the code name that the founding partners were already calling the beta space, Nucleus. The goal was to design something that was bright, friendly and approachable. Something we could build collateral with and have some fun in the space, but still look like an actual business. I wanted to show that innovation is fun, something we all did as kids.
